Bank PO

A Probationary Officer in the bank is the starting level appointment for bank officers. During the 1-2 years of probation, they are exposed to various important functions of the bank such as Loans & Advances, Foreign exchange, Credit Rating, Treasury, Risk Management, IT, Marketing etc.

Bank Clerk

A Bank Clerk is a financial service professional who serves as the primary point of contact for most bank customers, administering basic banking transactions, documentation and administrative functions.

Besides the basic pay of Rs. 13,000 per month average, Bank PO & Clerk are entitled to benefits like Dearness Allowance, Leave Travel Allowance, House Rent Allowance Pension, Leased Accommodation, Gratuity, Medical Benefits etc. This works out to an annual package of 4.5 to 6 Lakhs per annum; even more for SBI. They are also entitled to receive emoluments as applicable to award staff under various rules in force in the employer bank from time to time.
