B. El. Ed.Admission to B.El.Ed Programme  is made through a Common Entrance Test (CEE-B.El.Ed) conducted by the Department of Education, University of Delhi. There are 8 colleges in Delhi University offering B El Ed Course(LSR, Miranda House, Jesus & Mary College, Gargi College, Mata Sundari, Shyama Prasad Mukerjee, Institute of Home Economics, Aditi Mahavidyalaya).

Duration: 4 Years
Eligibility: 55% in Class XII aggregate(Four subjects) with 50% in each of the four subjects considered
Exam: June
Total Duration of Test : 3 hr
Entrance exam is bilingual Hindi/English

Scheme of the Entrance Test

There are 4 sections :
Language Comprehension(English/Hindi) – 35 marks
Mathematical Thinking and Reasoning – 35 marks
Subject Knowledge(Science upto X level) – 35 marks
Subject Knowledge(Social Sciences upto X level) – 35 marks
Class XII weightage – 10

Sec A

i) Bilingual Language Comprehension (MCQ type) – English and Hindi questions. Marks – 35. Questions will be based on comprehension and the ability to use language in different contexts. Candidates are required to attempt both English and Hindi questions.

ii) Mathematical Thinking & Reasoning (MCQ type) – English or Hindi medium. Marks – 35. Questions will be application based and entail thinking, reasoning and problem solving in mathematics. Candidates can choose to answer in Hindi or in English.

Sec B

i) Subject Knowledge (Science upto Class X). Marks – 35. Questions will be based on reasoning and application of concepts in Science upto Class X. Candidates can choose to answer in Hindi or in English.

ii) Subject Knowledge (Social Sciences upto Class X). Marks – 35. Questions will be based on interpretation of concepts in Social Sciences upto Class X. Candidates can choose to answer in Hindi or in English.
